Since early 2014, Wolfgang Halbig<\/a>, a slick confidence man from Sorrento, Florida has been seeking to profit off the 26 women and children slaughtered at the Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. Campaigning as a faux-defender of constitutional rights, Halbig<\/a> has convinced many gullible Americans to part with their hard money in exchange for a bill of goods that he stands no chance of ever delivering<\/a>. In return for their investment, Halbig has promised his marks that he will lead an investigation and file federal lawsuits in an effort to prove the victims didn\u2019t really die and that the shooting was actually an elaborate illusion set-up by the U.S. government to scare Americans into giving up their constitutional freedoms. Using discredited conspiracy theories as a pretext and capitalizing off the fear and paranoia generated by other for-profit \u201cpatriots,\u201d Halbig has been making the rounds on various radio talk programs, such as the popular Alex Jones Show, plying his trade on disenfranchised working clclass US. citizens. Halbig has stated that he needs at least $250,000 to accomplish his mission and has thus far raised nearly $100,000 towards that goal. Only a small portion of that money has been accounted for. What Halbig<\/a> and his complicit family members have managed to keep for themselves has yet to be determined. Exaggerating his meager credentials in law enforcement (less than one year as a Florida Highway Patrolman<\/a> in 1974) and as a High School teacher, Halbig<\/a> has managed to amass a cult following of deranged conspiracy theorists that hang on his every word and obey his every order. Many of Halbig\u2019s followers have been engaged in an ongoing gang stalking campaign aimed at harassing and intimidating the grieving families and others personally affected by the tragedy. Some have even acted out violently, made terroristic threats or stolen property from the victims\u2019 families. Most would agree that exploiting a tragic event for personal, political or financial gain is something that should be considered beyond the pale in a civilized society. Yet that\u2019s precisely what some unsavory individuals, like Wolfgang Halbig<\/a>, have managed to accomplish on the backs of those who have suffered and continue to suffer from one of the most horrific crimes against humanity ever committed on American soil.<\/p>\n

2. Why and for what reason would the FBI classify the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting when they did not classify the Columbine shooting which also was a Mass casualty shooting incident?<\/span><\/p>\n

Any thinking person knows that the question regarding an  FBI procedure is not addressed to Connecticut State Police <\/b>(CSP). The FBI does not report to the Connecticut State Police.  Who runs the FBI and tells them what to do?  We can all speculate; however, none could fairly claim that the answer is “police officers in Connecticut”.  <\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

CSP did a FOIA request to get the FBI report for themselves. The FBI, through Special Agent Kimberly Mertz, responded to the request on July 23, 2013.  A notification from the FBI dated July 18, 2013 advised CSP that the FBI was releasing 109 pages of 173 pages of their report<\/u> pursuant to FOIPA Title 5, US Code 552\/552a.<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

The FBI included a notification that there are three discrete categories of law enforcement and national security records that are excluded from FOIA as in USC 5   552(c) .<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

All 109 pages of the FBI report that the State Police received are INCLUDED in the report, downloaded as the above listed document.  In other words, the FBI report is in fact, not entirely classified, and has already been released and may be freely downloaded and reviewed.  Yes, it is heavily redacted; however, that is the FBI, not CSP.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

64 pages are classified.  How much does the FBI do in 64 pages? I would think… very little.  <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, that has nothing to do with Connecticut or the CSP, who were equally denied access to those 64 pages.   Who in or above the FBI decided to classify the 64 pages? Who knows! But the question is not for Connecticut.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The fact is, the FBI had little to do with the investigation of Sandy Hook.   This was a state run operation.  <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Who on Dec 14, 2012 was the Incident Commander as required by the Federal Emergency Management Administration in directing the Mass Casualty Shooting Incident at the Sandy Hook Elementary School?<\/span><\/div>\n
Major Brian Meraviglia, the Western District Commander, was the commander of the crime scene, once a command center was formally established.<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

4. Who and Why did they not request the Life Star Helicopters knowing that children and school staff are seriously injured and clinging to life?<\/span><\/p>\n

Four wounded people were transported by ambulance. The premise of the question is incorrect because the report is clear, the rest were dead.  <\/b><\/span>

\n<\/b>Halbig needs to clarify his question because there were no others “clinging to life”. Who is he talking about here?<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
5. Who and Why did they not allow the Paramedics and the EMT\u2019S inside the Sandy Hook School to treat the seriously injured or those children and school staff clinging to life?<\/span><\/div>\n
Again, Halbig’s premise is incorrect, because it is not true that Paramedics and EMT’s were not allowed in the school.  <\/b><\/span>
